Pregnancy and birth care designed around you — not a system.

Holistic Midwifery Care in Spokane, WA

This work is personal.

Not just something I’ve studied - something I’ve lived.

Before I was a midwife, I was a mother.

I’ve been the one asking questions.
The one navigating decisions.
The one wondering if there was a better way to be cared for.

And what I found — both in my own experiences and in the system itself — is that too many women are left feeling rushed, dismissed, or unsure of their choices.

That didn’t sit right with me then.
It doesn’t sit right with me now.

A pregnant person lying down, showing a close-up of their bare, rounded belly and hand resting on a beige blanket.
An older woman providing a massage or physical therapy to a young girl sitting on the floor with her head bowed and arms extended.

I didn’t build this practice to replicate what already exists.

I built it because something is missing in modern maternity care

Time.
Connection.
Trust.

Women deserve more than 10-minute appointments and surface-level conversations.

You deserve to understand what’s happening in your body.
You deserve to feel confident in your decisions.
You deserve to be supported — not managed.

The Catching House was created to be that space.

A place where care feels different the moment you walk in.

What Makes The Catching House Different

At The Catching House, you’re not just “another patient on the schedule.” You’re a whole human stepping into one of the most transformational seasons of your life…and I treat it that way.

Relationship-first model of care

You’ll see me, not a rotating staff.

Shared decision-making

You’re in the driver’s seat, with education and support to back you up.

Clinical training meets intuitive care

Expert care that’s both evidence-based and deeply personal.

I’m a mom of seveN

I’ve been in the stirrups and in the trenches. I get it.

Access to a trusted team

Lactation, massage, chiropractic, and birth-ed are all part of your circle.

Because this experience stays with you

Birth is not just a medical event.

It’s something you carry with you — in your body, in your memory, in the way you step into motherhood.

How you are treated during this time matters.

How supported you feel matters.

And having someone in your corner who truly sees you?
That changes everything.

If you’re looking for something different, you’re in the right place.

Whether you already know the kind of care you want —
or you’re just starting to question what your options are —
this is a space to explore, ask, and be supported.
