  • Once you have paid, you are on the calendar. After you birth your baby have your provider place your placenta on ice, and contact me. I will coordinate pickup with you or your support team. Once its ready I will reach out to schedule your delivery!

  • Absolutely! Just let your care team know you plan to keep your placenta

  • If you have a uterine infection before or during labor, drug use, alcohol or smoking during pregnancy, cancer of the placenta, or if your placenta is taken to pathology would all be reasons to not encapsulate.

  • Consuming your placenta can help with your post birth iron levels, hormone balance, energy levels, milk supply, decrease postpartum bleeding and decrease risk for postpartum depression.

  • Placentas are processed only one at a time with meticulous labeling to ensure there is never any potential for mixup.

  • Yes! Encapsulation is a great option to help support your body. The only time it is not able to be done is if the placenta has to go to pathology. It is contaminated with formaldehyde, and that makes it unsafe for consumption.
